Mid-Atlantic Technology And Environmental Research, Inc. (M-AT/ER) is a consulting firm that was formed in 1992 to conduct specialized marine remote sensing and target identification surveys. Since that time, M-AT/ER has completed more than 20 survey projects per year in the United States and Caribbean. Our primary clients have included various districts of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the U.S. Navy, the Federal Highway Administration, the Mineral Management Service, the Depart­ment of Interior, and the Department of Commerce. M-AT/ER also has worked with various State agencies, engineering firms, and private individuals.

M-AT/ER collects, processes, and interprets geo­technical and cultural data related to marine and freshwater environments. M-AT/ER provides advice based on the results, generally for the purpose of construction or enhancement of port facilities, industry, or coastlines.
